Media Relations

The work of journalists is increasingly influenced by the incessant demands of the hourly, online news cycle. This is radically altering how conventional media outlets relate to news transmission and coverage.

As a long-time member of the National Union of Journalists, John Gallagher, as Principal of JGC, acknowledges these newly emerging pressures on journalists and the media generally in facilitating the development of appropriate forms of messaging for clients.

JGC develops specific media strategies for clients beyond the traditional media release approach. Our work aims at both informing and supporting journalists and achieving media coverage where this is required. We work at both national and local media level.

JGC also develops additional and realistic social media initiatives and approaches that can be managed within the resources and time constraints of individual clients.
